The computer-rendered interiors of Lürssen's 122-metre superyacht Kismet (formerly Project Jag) have been revealed by her new central agency for charter, Cecil Wright.
Commissioned by esteemed repeat Lürssen client Shahid Khan, the yet-to-be-delivered Lürssen's superyacht Kismet represents a reunion with Reymond Langton Design for its interior, while the exteriors are expertly crafted by Nuvolari Lenard. Shahid Khan, who formerly owned the 95.2-meter Lürssen yacht Whisper (previously named Kismet), eagerly anticipates the delivery of his new vessel, which promises to be a pinnacle of luxury and sophistication.
The interiors of the yacht have been characterized as a "beautiful, bespoke homage to the owner’s lifestyle" by the yard. Renderings unveil a dramatic theme, highlighted by an elaborate staircase reminiscent of the original Kismet, adorned with video walls. Throughout the interior, one can find fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling glass elements, and intricate detailing in paint and marble, all contributing to the vessel's opulent ambiance.
Chris Cecil-Wright expressed enthusiasm about the yacht's debut on the charter market, stating, "Having sold the previous Kismet in September last year, we are delighted to be able to continue our relationship with her owner as the central agent for charter for his stunning new vessel."
The charter yacht boasts accommodation for up to 12 guests across nine lavish cabins, while the crew quarters have been designed to comfortably house a staff of 40. With a beam of 17.8 meters, the yacht offers extraordinary volumes and showcases sleek and elegant lines, as noted by the yard.
Standout features of the vessel include a helipad, beauty salon, spa, sauna, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor cinema, dance floor, gym, and elevator. Additionally, ample space has been allocated for a selection of tenders and toys, including a sailing dinghy, Sea Bobs, sea scooters, windsurfers, and even a submarine, ensuring a truly unforgettable charter experience.
Sold by Moran Yacht & Ship in 2019, Kismet stands as one of the largest superyachts currently under construction worldwide. According to BOATPro, Lürssen is actively working on nine yachts, including the 107-meter explorer Project Icecap, which, upon completion, will rank among the top 30 largest yachts ever built by Lürssen. Kismet made a significant milestone on August 11 when it was launched at Rendsburg, following the drydock flooding that occurred on August 10.
