Naomi Astley Clarke, esteemed as one of London’s premier interior designers, has cultivated a remarkable reputation throughout her illustrious career spanning over 25 years. Recognized among Andrew Martin's prestigious top 100 designers worldwide, she is celebrated for her studio's seamless fusion of exquisite British craftsmanship with a global design sensibility.

With a client roster that includes luminaries from the realms of film and music, Astley Clarke is renowned for her ability to elevate interiors with unparalleled sophistication and style. However, her latest endeavor presents a unique challenge: transforming the interiors of a private jet.

Tasked with conceptualizing the design for a Gulfstream G700 jet, Astley Clarke faces a departure from the glamorous residences typically associated with her portfolio. Despite the confined space of the aircraft, with its cabin spanning 56.11 feet in length (excluding baggage) and 8.2 feet in width, Astley Clarke's creative vision promises to transcend spatial constraints, delivering a bespoke interior that exudes luxury and refinement.

When approached by a private aviation specialist to explore the transformation of a jet into an extension of the home, Naomi Astley Clarke embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm.

"I adore the technical challenge of designing for restrictive, multifunctional spaces," Astley Clarke shares. "Every inch has to be accounted for and made the most of, and I think we have found the perfect balance between functionality and beauty."

Remaining faithful to her distinctive style, the interior of the Gulfstream G700 jet seamlessly blends luxury with comfort. The result is an inviting space that encourages passengers to relax and unwind during flight.

Drawing inspiration from mid-century modern design, the cabin is adorned with polished walnut, plush velvet chairs, and intricate tropical wallpaper panels. The color palette, predominantly neutral, is enlivened by bold accents of emerald green, creating a warm and cozy ambiance reminiscent of home.
